The location of the hotel is convenient, with easy access from the highway. the views from the rooms and pool area are breathtaking, with constantly changing scenery of the mountains and clouds. the rooms and hotel facilities are well-maintained and beautifully taken care of. Guests highly recommend the gourmet dinner prepared by Olga, with multiple delicious appetizers and creative dishes made from local ingredients. the breakfast, especially the egg benedicts with homemade hollandaise sauce, is fantastic. the pool offers a charming and relaxing space to enjoy the warm water and the special wind.
One downside is that there are only two guest rooms available, so availability might be limited.

We recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views. El Refugio La Brisa Del Diablo is a true hidden gem that surpasses any expectations. The garden offers stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains and Baru volcano, especially when it's all lit up at night. The owners, Olga and Stéphane, made us feel like special guests, attending to every detail with care. And let's talk about the food - Olga's culinary skills are on another level. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every dish was a masterpiece, worthy of a five-star restaurant. It truly was an unforgettable experience.

As youngsters, we absolutely loved the beautiful views and the opportunity to explore the surrounding nature. the hotel's cozy and well-decorated interior made us feel right at home. And the hot tub was the perfect place to relax and sip on some delicious passionfruit margaritas!
We felt so at home during our stay at El Refugio La Brisa Del Diablo that we had no complaints whatsoever.

What an amazing place! We really wished we had spent more time here, but we were only passing through between Panama City and Bocas town. We stayed on both our there and return trips, and both times it was fantastic! Olga is an incredible cook, and there is so much food, it’s no wonder the name of their restaurant is La Gula ! The setting is picturesque, with amazing views and so many fireflies! They have a little nook for the kids to hang out in. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and neatly decorated. And the hot tub is a great place to relax and have some of the best passionfruit margaritas you’ve ever had!
Do recommend this hotel.
